Duo Sarasvathi – Nowak was founded in 2019 by indonesian pianist Victoria Sarasvathi and polish violinist Sebastian Nowak. Currently Duo Sarasvathi – Nowak studies at Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover with Prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn and Prof. Arie Vardi and at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main with Prof. Angelika Merkle.

The Duo won 1st Prizes at Harald Genzmer Interpretationswettbewerb 2020 in Munich (Germany) and Cosima Wagner International Chamber Music Competition 2023 in Bellagio (Italy). Moreover they won 3rd Prizes at Stasys Vainiunas Chamber Music Competition 2022 in Vilnius (Lithuania) and Anton Garcia Abril International Chamber Music Competition 2023 in Baza (Spain). In the year 2023 the Duo won a Finalistprize at Ilmari Hannikainen International Chamber Music Competition in Jyväskylä (Finland) and performed Double Concerto for Violin and Piano by W.A.Mozart with Jyväskylä Sinfonia.

Duo Sarasvathi - Nowak has performed in Europe und Asia and at festivals such as Beethoven 2020 The Grand Festival Jakarta, Eurasia Festival Hannover, Festival Junger Meister Langenargen.

The Duos vast repertoire includes works from Baroque till XXI century music.

Duo Sarasvathi - Nowak worked closely with teachers such as Trio Storioni Markus Becker, Johannes Nies, Tim Vogler, Eberhardt Feltz, Zvi Meniker, MinJung Kang.
