
Victoria Sarasvathi
Victoria Audrey Sarasvathi (b. 1997) is an Indonesian pianist whose artistry and musical maturity have earned her recognition on international stages.
She completed her Master’s degree and Konzertexamen (Artist Diploma) under the guidance of renowned Prof. Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Prior to that, she studied with Prof. Roland Krüger at the same institution, earning her Bachelor's degree after completing the Pre-College program. Moreover she completed chamber music studies with Prof. Angelika Merkle at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main. Her musical journey began with Iswargia R. Sudarno at the Jakarta Conservatory of Music after starting piano lessons at the age of three.
A laureate of numerous international competitions, Victoria has garnered top prizes at the Aarhus International Piano Competition, Steinway Piano Competition, Schumann Piano Competition Zwickau, Young Pianist of the North in Newcastle, the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, and the Chopin Competitions in Japan and Malaysia, among others.
Victoria has performed across Europe and Asia, with appearances in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. As a soloist she performed with Göttinger Symphonie Orchester, Kammersinfonie Oldenburg, Musica Assoluta Orchestra. She has participated in masterclasses with revered pedagogues including Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Bernd Goetzke, Dominique Merlet, Gilead Mishory, and others.
She is a recipient of prestigious scholarships from the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V., Fritz Behrens Stiftung, Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung, Rotary Club Germany and German National Scholarship Program.
