Victoria Sarasvathi

Victoria Audrey Sarasvathi is an Indonesian pianist who has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. Her artistry and musical maturity have earned her recognition on international stages, leading to top prizes at numerous competitions in Aarhus, Hamburg, Zwickau, Newcastle, and Enschede, as well as at the Chopin Competitions in Japan and Malaysia, among others. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Göttinger Symphonie Orchester, Kammersinfonie Oldenburg, and the Musica Assoluta Orchestra.

An avid chamber musician, Victoria is also a founding member of the Trouvaille Trio alongside Sebastian Nowak and German-American cellist Timothy Hopkins. In 2024, the ensemble was awarded Second Prize at the Chamber Music Competition of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft in Frankfurt, praised for its musical sensitivity and interpretative unity.

Victoria completed her Konzertexamen (Artist Diploma) and Master’s degree under the guidance of renowned Prof. Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Prior to this, she studied with Prof. Roland Krüger at the same institution, earning her Bachelor’s degree after completing the Pre-College program. She later completed a second Master’s degree in chamber music with Prof. Angelika Merkle at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.

Her artistic development has been enriched through masterclasses with distinguished musicians and pedagogues including Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Bernd Goetzke, Dominique Merlet, Gilead Mishory.

Victoria is a recipient of scholarships and artistic support from institutions including the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Hannover, Fritz Behrens Stiftung, Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung, Rotary Club Germany, and the German National Scholarship Program.
